christmas

I am so excited about Christmas. For obvious reasons yes, I can't wait to meet our new little one. Hudson is actually starting to get excited about the baby. He now asks if she can come now all the time. We will see if he is as excited after she cries for a while. hehe I plan to have all the christmas decorations and shopping done by the 4th so I can enjoy every moment with her and Hudson and Aaron and not worry about the tree and shopping.

On a random note I just ate a big dill pickle and hot tamales. I was instantly taken back to high school and enjoyed every moment of it.aaaaahhhhh

Busy, Busy

Well now that we are officially moved in I have to start on all my projects. I like to stay busy and don't stress out to much so I am kinda glad to be doing creative things now. I made Hudson's birthday invitations, now I am in the process of cutting out the pattern for Hudson's Halloween costume (he is going to be the cutest elephant ever), I have to paint the babies room pink with lighter pink stencil on the wall behind the bed, try to find the right shade of yellow for Hudson's room, paint his room, go to baby showers, thanksgiving, and then get ready for the new baby.Whew it seems like a lot but it should be fun to see it all come together.

Pflugerville, Texas

Well it is official we are finally moved in in Austin. Pflugerville to be exact, and we really love it. There are so many things to do and learn. We are in the process of getting the house in order (which is going to take a while). We also got a new washing machine and dryer courtesy of Brad and Barb. It is one of those fancy front load sets and it is very cool. It takes longer to wash but you can put twice as much in the machine. Very cool.

Went to the doctor for the first time here in Austin and asked her to confirm that it is a girl and she said she definately thought it is a girl. Yes! Just wanted to be sure before I paint the room.

Kylah-- if you read this I will call you soon about Amy's shower. The invites are already done by me. Thanks for offering though. I am sure we are going to need more help and as soon as something comes up we will let you know. Thanks.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

I told myself I wasn't going to get my hopes up because another boy would have been a wonderful blessing, but turns out it's a girl! Now I will get to experience both. One of each. I am really excited about all the pink and the frilly stuff but I am also aware that this is new territory for me and am a little bit nervous. Not to much though I mean I am a girl myself so.... I was shocked though, the tech told us it was a girl and my sisters and I all went "really-no kidding" at the same time. With our mouths open wide we were all in shock for the rest of the afternoon. It is just amazing what a miracle babies are. I still can't feel her moving around yet but she was very active for the camera.

Update...

For all of you who know my mom and everything that has been going on with her lately, she is doing great. Hudson and I went up there on Tuesday and spent the day at my aunts house with my mom and sisters and aunt and uncle. Wednesday morning was excruciatingly long. We got there at about 6:30 (her surgery was suppose to start at 8:30) and her surgery started at 9:45. The we sat there for what was suppose to be 3 hours and ended up being 5. We were all going crazy with worry. Turns out everything went great. They got to perform the whole surgery robotic and they even had a hard time finding the cancer. Robotic is good because there will be less recovery time and less pain. She caught the cancer early and so there was hardly any to remove but the got it all. A full hysterectomy later and she says her arms hurt the worst because of all the gas they pump you full of for surgery and then strapped her arms down. Ouch! Anyway she will be in Dallas for two weeks and then my aunt will drive her to Od. Thank you for all your prayers. God is an amazing God!
On the home front We Sold Our House! Can you believe it? What a blessing! We sign closing papers on our new house in Austin on the 27th and then the moving people come in the next days. We will be out of our house in San Angelo by the beginning of August. Crazy!
I will be 18 weeks along on Monday the 19th. I get to go have the anatomy sonogram then to tell us if everything is OK and if it is a boy or girl. Yeah! i can't wait to find out and start buying things for this little one.

Hudson's little secret......

The secret is out!

We waited to tell until we heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday. The doc says I am about 10 wks but the baby measures 10 wks 6 days so I could be due between Dec. 14th and the 20th. He says we will pin point it closer to the anatomy sonogram. It is so exciting! Hudson doesn't really understand to much yet but I bet closer to time he will or he may want to take it back after it is born when it cries. He hates to hear baby Ben cry, he always wants to go home! Either way it should be an adventure.
